Technician Class License Training Session
will prepare students for the Technician Class amateur radio license.
WHEN: September 27, 2008
TIME: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM - 8 hour class
WHERE: Embry Riddle University, 3700 Willow Creek Road, King Engineering and Technology Center, room KEC 132, at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) in Prescott, Arizona (Map of the campus)
TEXT: ARRL Ham Radio Technician Class License Manual, License Manual retails for $24.95, I will be making a quantity buy of these books for $20.00 each for those who want them let me know by September 13. It will take 7-8 days for the textbboks to be received and I will make the books available at that time if you want them before the class is conducted.
OTHER: Scientific calculator, and a notebook.
FORMAT: The classes will be lecture/demo with some guest presenters, time permitting.
EXAM: The exam for the Technician Class amateur radio license will be conducted on October 11th. Additional details of the exam will be made available to those attending the class.
